Konkan Railway to operate special trains to Velankani

Mangaluru, Aug 27, 2016: Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd., in association with the South Western and Southern Railways, will operate Velankanni special trains.

The Vasco-Velankanni Suvidha Special will leave Vasco at 10.30 a.m. on August 27, September 3 and September 7 to reach Velankanni at 12.35 p.m. the next day.

Other trains : August 30: Train No 82656 will leave Velankanni at 10.40 a.m. and reach Vasco at 10 a.m. the next day.   September 5: Train No 82660 will leave Velankanni at 9.30 a.m. and reach Vasco at 10 a.m. the next day.September 8: Train No 82658 will leave Velankanni at 7.30 p.m. to reach Vasco at 9.10 p.m. the following day.

The special train will have 18 coaches. It will halt at Madgoan, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Kundapur, Udupi, Suratkal, Mangaluru Jn., Kasargod, Kannur, Thalassery, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur Jn., Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Karur, Tiruchchirappali, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam.

From Velankanni: 

· Train No.82656 Velankanni – Vasco Special train will leave Velankanni at 10.40 hrs. on 30.08.2016 (Tuesday)  and arrive Vasco at 10.00 hrs. on the next day. 


·  Train No.82660 Velankanni – Vasco Special train will leave Velankanni at 09.30 hrs. on 05.09.2016 (Monday)  and arrive Vasco at 10.00 hrs. on the next day.

· Train No.82658 Velankanni – Vasco Special train will leave Velankanni at 19.30 hrs. on 08.09.2016 (Thursday)  and arrive Vasco at 21.10 hrs. on the next day

From Vasco :

· Train No.82655 Vasco – Velankanni Specail will leave Vsco at 10.30hrs.on   03.09.2016 and arrive Velankanni at 12.35 hrs on the next day.

·  Train No.82657 Vasco – Velankanni Specail will leave Vsco at 10.30hrs.on   07.09.2016 and arrive Velankanni at 12.35 hrs.on the next day.
