Kerala police secure three in attempt to murder case

Mangaluru, Feb 23, 2018 : Kerala police with the help of Mangaluru police secured three persons wanted by them in an attempt to murder case from a Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP)-managed cow shelter, “Govanitashrama”, at Pajeer here on Thursday.


arrest 23 feb 18Mangaluru Police Commissioner T.R. Suresh said that the Manjeshwara police in Kerala learnt about the presence of the three persons in the Govanitashrama. Following a request by the Kerala police, the city police helped them in securing Anil, Manju and Kishan from the cow shelter.

Police Inspector of Kumbla Circle (Kerala) Manoj V.V. said that the three persons are being questioned now in connection with a murder reported at Hosangady under Manjeshwara police limits.

Executive President of VHP, Karnataka, M.B. Puranik, said that the three persons had joined the cow shelter February 21 as volunteers to work among other volunteers in the shelter.
