Mangaluru, Feb 3, 2016 : Police have arrested five persons in connection with a fight that ensued between two groups at the Katipalla Janatha Colony on February 1, Monday night.
It is believed that a trivial issue had resulted in the clash. According to sources the goat belonging to one family in the colony had ate the wheat which another family had spread on the ground for drying resulting in the dispute. On February 1, there was a heated exchange of words as well as blows in which nine persons were injured.
Suratkal police have registered two complaints in this regard and are on the lookout for some more persons wanted in this case.
Meanwhile, in another development, Hindu Jagarana Vedike activists staged a protest in front of Suratkal police station on Tuesday night alleging that the police had registered case under some harsh sections of IPC against accused belonging to one particular community.
The Vedike has said it would continue its protest even on Wednesday.
Do not dominate on another. Patience is Virtue and never respond to any issue unnecessarily. You are training your younger ones in the same behavior to harm others unknowingly.
Why haven’t the police revealed the names of the persons arrested? Some people wait for the opportunity to destroy the peace among the people.
The goat was from other community. Is it? The people of stop fighting over each other in the name of religion. They could have soled the misunderstanding in a friendly manner, Instead of inviting trouble
Arrest the trouble makers and Chase the goat. Problem solved.
Silly reasons? The goat is unaware of the wheat it ate ? What’s the need to quarrel?
