Kasargod: Woman strangled after dupatta gets entangled in wet grinder

Kasargod, Mar 02, 2017 : A 22-year-old woman died in a freak accident after her dupatta got trapped in a wet grinder . The incident occured on March 01, Wednesday night at her residence in Kumble.

dupatta 2 mar The deceased is identified as Ayeshath Munaifa(22).

Reports said that the incident occurred when Munaifa was grinding rice flour. The ends of her dupatta got stuck in the machine and the cloth tightened around her neck, strangling her. It happened suddenly and she had no time to react, hearing her screams family rushed to rescue her. She was taken to hospital immediately, where doctors declared her dead.

Munaifa had got married one and a half year ago.

Case has been registered in Kumble police station .
