Kasargod: Taxi driver held with fake notes of Rs 500

Kasargod, Oct 04, 2017: A taxi driver with four fake notes of Rs 500 was arrested by Vidyanagar police on October 04, Wednesday.

Kamalaksh Poojary (44) Taxi driver, resident of  Perla Seraje is identified as person arrested.

Kamalash had been to petrol bunk  for getting his vehicle filled and paid Rs 2000 of Rs500 each . The owner of the bunk grew suspcious on seeing the notes. He immediately informed the police ,who confirmed the notes to be fake and Kamalash was taken to custody.

The police  raided
Kamalash ’s residence too but no fake notes were recovered. Two  persons were arrested in connection with the case.

Vidyanagar police are investigating the case.
