Kasargod : Mystery shrouds death of young housewife

Kasargod, Nov 07, 2015: In a tragic incident, a young housewife was found dead in a well near her house in Uduma in Bekal police station limits on November 6, Friday.
The deceased woman is Srilatha (26), wife of Biju who is employed in the Gulf. It is learnt the two were married in January this year.
Srilatha was missing since November 5, Thursday night. Her body was found in a well the next day. The cause of her death is a mystery.
The woman had been to her parental home on November 2 to cast her vote in the local body elections and had then returned to her husband’s house.
The fire service personnel retrieved the body from the well and a post mortem was conducted at the Pariyaram Medical College.
Bekal police are investigating the case.
