Kasargod : Man shot dead over trivial quarrel

Kasargod, April 27, 2020:    A  54 year old man was shot dead over a trivial reason at Pilikkod on April 26, Sunday evening.  The deceased has been identified as K C Surendran. The accused Sanal (30) has been arrested by the police after he surrendered at the local police station.

 

It is learnt, both of them had entered into an altercation over a trivial reason on Sunday evening. Later in a fit of anger Sanal had opened fire at Surendran. As the bullet pierced through  Surendran’s neck, he collapsed and died on the spot.

The accused later  arrived at the Chandera police station and surrendered. It is said there was a property dispute between the two.
