Kasargod : Man murdered , accused absconding

Kasargod, Jan 28, 2016. In shocking incident, a man been murdered in the rented room at  Palakunnu in Bekala near Kasargod . The incident came to light on January 27, Wednesday.

The person murdered is identified as Ashok. He was 54 years old. A resident of Tanjavoor in Tamilnadu. Ashok owned a laundry shop Palkunnu. He stayed in a rented room in Palakunnu near railway gate..

Karthik the owner of a barber shop from same locality had visited Ashok’s room on Tuesday night. Next day Ashok was lying dead in his room in a pool of blood is said. He was murdered by slitting his neck as there was a cut mark around his neck.

The locals informed the police about the murder.

 DSP A. Srinivas and DySP Harishchandra Nayak along with Bekal Inspector Narayan  visited the spot .Canine squad, Finger print and Forensic expert too inspected the spot. Karthik is a prime suspect. The police are in search of him, as he is absconding since then.

 The Kasargod police are investigating the case.
