Kasargod: Man charged with Embezzlement of Rs 70 crore arrested

Kasargod: August 12, 2015: A resident of Ambalattare in Kasargod, Sudhakar pai (63) has been arrested by the Andra Police, which arrived to Kasargod on August 11.
According to the sources, Pai was working as a Manager at Shri Raghavendra Kshetra in Andra. He has been convicted of embezzling temple money amounting to Rs. 70 crore.
It is learnt that he served as manager during the time of Shri Raghavendra Thirtha Swamiji.
Reacting to the allegation, Pai said that he had paid all collections to the then swamiji and has assured to the police that he will appear in court n Chittoor soon.
Andra Police DySP and two crime branch inspectors arrived at Ambalattare Station. They barged into the house of Pai and arrested him.
