Kasargod, Mar 24, 2017 :The Kasargod district administration has banned two-wheelers during night time in Kasargod and Manjeshwar taluks with effect from March 23 between 10.30 pm till 6 am in the backdrop of the recent untoward incidents involving bike borne miscreants in the vicinity of Kasargod. The ban will be in vogue until further orders.
District Superintendent of Police K G Simon has warned of stern action against those who flout the order.
If a Madarasa teacher was murdered by slitting his throat on March 21, several stone pelting incidents were reported during a bundh in protest against the murder. On March 23, the shop belonging to a person named M Satish at Mogral Puttur was set afire by some miscreants.
Meanwhile, the District Superintendent of Police has also warned rumour mongers on social media and warned of stringent action against those resorting to such acts.
