Kasargod, June 15, 2018: Two persons sustained injuries in a serial road mishap on the National Highway at Anangur on the outskirts of the city on June 15, Friday. The mishap occurred when a lorry transporting gas cylinders collided against a car. The lorry then hit another autorickshaw and a container before overturning.
The LPG laden lorry was heading towards Mangaluru from Kanhangad while the car was proceeding towards Vidyanagar from Kasargod.
The injured lorry driver Raju (61) from Puttur and Car driver Nijamuddin (35) from Paduvadka have been hospitalised.The condition of Nijamuddin is said to be critical.
Luckily the lorry was carrying empty cylinders lest there would have been a major tragedy.
