Kasargod, May 7, 2015: Red Corner notice has been issued by the Interpol to trace a couple from Kasargod that has duped investors’ across the state and Bengaluru to the tune of Rs 320 crore.

The absconding accused are Sadique Cheriya Veettil (32) and second accused is his wife Khadheejath Nausha (28), residents of  palakunnu and Naimarmoole in Ksaragod.

They are the directors of Cee Vee Broking Services Private Limited and Cee Vee Global Trading Solution. The duo along with another had floated two bogus company named Global Trading Solution and swindled money in form of deposits from people hailing from various places, through agents promising investors of better returns.

The swindled amount runs into approximately Rs 320 crore, according to Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Kerala Police.


Since 2011, Sadikque, the MD of the company and Naufa, the Director of the firm went missing and it was alleged that they transferred the amount to a foreign business entity.

The two are facing a total of 46 cases against them in Palakkad alone and it is said that Chennai police are also on a look out for them over the four pending fraud cases registered against them.

While it is said that the two have escaped to the Gulf, the agencies have not been able to nab the two.
