Karnataka Bank bags Greentech Safety Award

Mangaluru, Aug 30, 2016: The Karnataka Bank has bagged this year’s national level “Greentech Safety Award”. Greentech Safety Award is presented by Greentech Foundation to institutions in both public & private sectors, including banking sector that have made significant achievements in the field of safety & security.
In recognition of achievements in this field, the Bank was declared as winner of ’Gold Award’ during the year.
The certificate and the trophy in this regard, were received by Sri. P Jayarama Bhat, MD & CEO of the Bank, from Sri. Kamaleshwar Saran, Chairman & CEO of Greentech Foundation in the presence of Sri. R K Dubey, Chief Advisor & Conference Chairman & former CMD of Canara Bank.
On the occasion, Sri Mahabaleshwara M S, Chief General Manager, Sri Muralidhar Krishna Rao, Deputy General Manager, Treasury & Accounts Dept & Sri. KS Ponnappa, Chief Security Officer were present from the Bank.
Speaking on the occasion in the award ceremony, Sri. P Jayarama Bhat, MD & CEO of the Bank said, "I appreciate the initiative of Greentech Foundation in promoting improved workplace safety across industries and I also reiterate the commitment of the Bank for the safety of its customers, employees and also the general public”.
