Mangaluru, Sep 15. 2015: Karnataka Bank, one of the leading private sector bank has a target of reaching Rs one lakh crore business mark during the year 2016-17, informed P Jayaram Bhat, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank.
He was presiding over the inaugural function of new premises of the Mannagudda Branch of the Bank which has been shifted to Sai Prem building on September 14, Monday.
Continuing his speech, Jayaram Bhat said the bank has a target of reaching the business mark of Rs 91,000 crore by March 31, 2015 and also to increase the number of branches to 725 and ATMs to 1275 during the period.
The new premises of Mannagudda branch of the Bank was inaugurated by Sharavu Raghavendra Shastri, Managing Trustee of Sharavu Shree Mahaganapathi Temple. Srinath Hebbar, Proprietor of Land Trades inaugurated the ATM.
A Kishore Rao, MD of Mandovi Moors, Shashikiran, Mannagudda Branch Manager and others were present.
MS Mahabaleshwar Bhat, Chief Genera Manager who also spoke said he Bank which presently has five e-lobbies plans to increase it to 25.
