Karkala: Girl attacked by mentally ill man, succumbs

Karkala, May 5,2017 : A nine year old girl named Manvi who was recently attacked by a mentally ill man while she was asleep inside her grand parents’ house at Kedinje, has succumbed to her injuries on May 4, Thursday.
The accused Umesh (35) of Somwarapete had barged into the girl’s house on May 1 and had assaulted her.
She was the daughter of Ramesh Samani and Swapna couple who are residents of Nadaru in Kotekar village. As it was summer holidays, Manvi had visited her grand parents’ house.
