Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat trying to politicise stabbing incident, alleges Mithun Rai

Mangaluru, May 29, 2017 : District Youth Congress President Mithun Rai has accused RSS leader Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat of playing politics behind the recent Kalladka incident of stabbing.

Speaking to reporters here on May 29, Monday, Rai also took strong exception to the remarks made by Kalladka Bhat against the SP and described it as unwarranted. "The Police Department must be allowed to discharge its duties without any interference," Mithun said adding neither the SP nor any other police official of the district require a certificate from Bhat.

Referring to the May 26 incident at Kalladka, Mithun said Mohammad Hashir who was waiting at the bus stop with his friend after the Friday prayers was stabbed by Mithun and others and alleged that this was an incident aimed at triggering communal violence.

Mithun Rai was also critical of Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat for targeting District Minister Ramanatha Rai.

Chandra Prakash Shetty, ZP Member, Prasad Malli, Padmanabha Naringana and others were present at the press meet.
