Kabir murder case - police arrest Manoj Kulal

Mangalore, Mar 6: The Bajpe and the Panambur police arrested Manoj Kulal alias Manju (28) at Moodubidri on March 5, Saturday. Son of Krishnappa Bangera of Shediguri House at Thokur in Jokatte, Manoj has been booked for 8 offences in all. The police have also confiscated a motorcycle, a Nokia mobile phone, and the rear seat of a Scorpio vehicle from Manoj.

Deputy Commissioner Ramesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner M. Puttamadaiah, Panambur Circle Inspector Valentine D’Souza, and Bajpe Sub Inspector Mahadeva Lakshman Yeligar guided the police team that made the arrest.

Earlier, the police had arrested six people suspected of being involved in the gruesome murder of Kabir, an associate of Madoor Isubu.

Police sources reveal that Kabir was murdered to take revenge for the murder of Sukhanand Shetty. Allegedly, prominent politicians and industrialists are involved in the affair. The police are now in the process of collecting information to prove the involvement of these people in the murder of Kabir.
