KSRTC Bus –Truck head on collision, 4 critically injured

Bantwal, Nov 01, 2016: Four persons critically injured and in head on collisin between KSRTC bus and truck in Manihalla on Belthangady- Bantwal highway on November 01, Tuesday.

The KSRTC bus plying towards Dharmastala form Mangaluru rammed into a truck plying from opposite direction in Manihalla. The impact of the accident was such that the injured were stuck inside the mangled bus. The four were seriously and six other escape with minor injuries

Bantwal(DySP) Raveesh and his driver Satyaprakash reached the spot and shifted the injured to the Hospital.Traffic was disrupted for over an hour on the busy and narrow stretch because of the accident.

Investigations are going on at Bantwal police station.
