Mangaluru, July 31, 2020: KPCC Chief D K Shivakumar has demanded a judicial probe by a sitting judge into the alleged corruption in the purchase of Covid-19 supplies and equipment in Karnataka.
Addressing media persons at the District Congress Office on July 31, Friday, he said a 30 member team from the Congress will be visiting all districts of the state to instill confidence in Covid-19 affected people, to assist them and to expose the corruption of the BJP government.
He also alleged that the state government has completely failed in controlling the spread of Covid-19.
KPCC Working President Saleem Ahmed, District Congress Chief Harish Kumar, former minister B Ramanatha Rai, MLA U T Khader, former MLA Abhayachandra Jain, former MP Vinay Kumar Sorake, former MLAs, J R Lobo, Ivan D’Souza, Shakuntala Shetty, District Youth Congress President Mithun Rai and others were present.
