S. M. Bashir Ahmed, the advisor of KJF, said that human rights have been violated by the arrest of Abdul Naseer Madani, especially after the high court had ruled that there is no case against him.

He complained that certain vested interests are responsible for this arrest.

Madani was arrested by the state police for alleged involved in the Bangalore blast of 2008 and is currently in the Parappana Agrahara, Bangalore.
