Journalists’ Association conducts health check-up camp for under trials

Mangaluru, Dec 09, 2017:  The  DK District Committee of  Karnataka  Journalists Association  organised a heath check-up camp for under trials at the District Prison here on December 9, Saturday. The   camp named "Suhasa" was inaugurated by DCP Hanumantharaya.

Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the camp organised as a prelude to  the Crime Prevention Month to be  observed by the Police Department very soon.

Jail Superintendent Paramesh, District Information Officer B A Khader Shah, Social activist  and Bar Association President S Chengappa, Karnataka Journalists’ Association President Sudesh Kumar,  Vice President Shivacharan Shetty and others were present.

Dr Shubha Alva, Dr Nitin and other staff from AJ Hospital,  Dr Vidya Suresh, Dr Manjunath from KMC  and others assisted in conducting the camp.
