Jailed man facing murder charges dies in hospital

Mangaluru, June 27, 2016: It is reported that a jailed under trial man who was facing the charge of murdering his wife died at a hospital in Mangaluru on June 25,Saturday. The deceased was identified as Annu alias Jayananda alias Dayananda Gowda (39).

Jail. He was under judicial custody at Mangaluru jail. He became ill and was admitted to a government hospital in Mangaluru. However, he died there.

Dayananda stabbed his wife on May 6, 2016 with a sword. He had worked in Mumbai for 12 years and after coming to his native place, he married Kusumavathi and became the father of twins. Soon he fell ill and thought that it would affect his wife and children and so he murdered them in his anxiety.
