Mangaluru, May 31, 2015 : International surfing trainers displayed their surfing skills at Panambur beach on May 30 before an enthusiastic crowd.
Addressing a function held in this connection, Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project CEO Yatish Baikampady spoke on the plans of introducing Surf Life Saving in the city and hoped that India can participate in the 2016 World Surfing Championship provided youngsters evince good interest in surfing sport.
He said the Surf Life which will operate under the Life Saving India and Surfing Federation of India will also be of great help the Beach Life Guards.
International; Surfing Association’s well-known trainer Jamo Borthwick said Surf Life Saving India will also contribute to further developing the skills of Lifeguards.
Ram Mohan Paranjape, Vice President of Surfing Federation of India also spoke on the occasion.
