Mangaluru, Aug 09, 2019: India Post is ready to recruit Branch Post Masters (BPM), Assistant Branch Post Masters (ABPM)and Dak Sevaks (DS) to post offices across villages in Mangaluru Division.
Addressing media at Patrika Bhavan on August 8, Thursday, Department of Posts Mangaluru Division Senior Superintendent Shree Harsha said applications had been invited from eligible candidates in order to fill up the vacant posts. He said five posts of BPM, 19 posts of ABPM and 19 posts of DS were vacant.
The candidate should be within the age group of 18 to 40 years, as on August 5, 2019. Age relaxations will be applicable to the deserving candidates. The candidates should have passed SSLC, with Kannada as a subject. The candidate should have undergone a 60-day computer course from a recognised institution.
The selection will be purely based on merit. The interested may apply online through http://www.appost.in/gdsonline, he added.
