Relishing the beauty of nature and fabricating the same through creativity is an art. By constant interaction with nature, a child can create an art from his imagination and this would lead to his intellectual development and make way for Research said Sri Harish Shetty, HOD Electronics and Communication Department at the Women’s Polytechnic, Bondel, Mangaluru on Monday 8th March 2021 inaugurating the Inter School District Level Shakthi Kalanidhi Drawing Contest at Shakthi Residential School.
He said that this competition would serve as a booster to the art loving kids of this District and help in bringing out the hidden talent of youngsters. Competition in life is essential for the all-round development of a child. The challenges faced during winning and losing gives us a lesson for life he added.
This competition is held in 5 sub categories under Junior and senior categories. The contest is open to kids from KG to 10th standard. Best Entry in each category will bag a cash prize of Rs. 750, a gift hamper from Itsy Bitsy, a certificate and a memento. So also the top 3 places will win a cash prize of 3000, 2000 and 1000 along with the top mentioned incentives.
Saguna C.Naik, Governing Council Member, Shakthi Group of Institutions was the Chief Guest. Dr.K.C.Naik, the Administrator, Ramesh K, Chief Advisor, Institute Development Officer Prakyath Rai, Sudheer M.K Principal-in-charge Shakthi PU College, Vidya Kamath G Principal Shakthi Residential School, Poornesh P, Co-ordinator of Shakthi Kalanidhi Contest, all staff and students were present on this occasion.
