Illegal cattle trafficking : 7cows rescued in Kundapur

Kundapur, Nov 22, 2017: Kundapur Rural police have rescued seven cattles illegaly being transported to a slaughterhouse  on November 22, Wednesday.

On noticing a pick up van covered completely with tarpaulin ,the police grew suspicious and followed the vehicle. The driver did not stop the vehicle, but as he moved further  managed to stop the vehicle at a spot.  He left the  vehicle loaded with cattles and fled away. The police have rescued seven cattles illegaly being transpoted and have also seized the vehicle used for transporting.


Kundapur Rural police are investigating the case.
