ICYM to host DIAFERENCE 2018 at Pakshikere on Feb 11

Mangaluru, Feb 10, 2018:  The Central Council of Indian Catholic Youth Movement of Mangalore Diocese in association with ICYM Kinnigoli Deanery will be  hosting a mega  event named DIAFERENCE 2018 at the St Jude Thaddeus Church Grounds, Pakshikere on February 11. The theme of the event is Youth to Witness Christ in Society’s  Different Walks of Life. Around 2000 youth from 117 deaneries of Mangalore Diocese will take part in the conference

 

As part of the event a DIAFERENCE Yuva Rally will be held at 8.45 am from Pakshikere Bus stand to Church grounds. Rev. Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, Parish Priest  of St Jude Thaddeus Church will flag off the rally.

The inaugural function will be presided over by Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu, Vicar General of  Mangalore Diocese. Rev. Fr Vincent Monteiro, Vicar Forane of Kinnigoli Deanery  will hoist the flag.

Lt Col. Gracian Sequeira, Administrative Officer of 18 Karnataka Batallion of NCC Mangalore,  Rev. Fr Vincent Monteiro, Rev Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, Rev Fr Chethan Machado, Secretary CCBI Youth Commission and Rev Fr Anil D’Sa, Karnataka Regional Youth Director  will be the chief guests.

Various sessions, debates and   cultural programmes will be held as part of the DIAFERENCE.
