ICYM organizes youth camp on employment

Bantwal, Apr 3: The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) of Bantwal deanery organized a camp on youth and employment in the auditorium of Our Lady of Loretto Church on April 3, Sunday.

Rohan Monteiro of Property Developers, Mangalore inaugurated the camp.









Dolphy Prashanth D’Souza, the member of the Central Advisory Committee of Limestone and Dolomite Mines Central Welfare Fund under the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment; Vincent Rodrigues, the ICYM director for Mangalore Diocese; Fr. Vincent Coelho, the youth director for Bantwal Deanery; Fr. Ivan D’Souza, the assistant youth director of Bantwal Deanery; Fr. Cyprian Pinto, the parish priest of Loretto Parish; resource persons Varghese, Cyril Vas, and Sr. Michelle from KROSS Bangalore; and Joyline D’Sa, the youth president of the Bantwal Deanery were the dignitaries on the dais.

Group activities were held between 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, following which a Holy Mass was celebrated by Fr. Anil D’Souza, the ICYM director of Mangalore Diocese, and other members of the clergy.

Around 180 young people from several parishes all over Bantwal Deanery participated in the camp.
