Mangaluru, Dec 11, 2019: Addressing media persons, ICAI, Mangaluru Branch, chairman Anantha Padmanabha K said The Institute Of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Mangaluru Branch, will organise a two-day national conference ‘Avirath’ at Town Hall in the city on December 12 and 13. The theme of the conference is ‘Perpetual Progression, Perfect Professionalism’.
Corporation Bank Managing Director and CEO P V Bharathi will inaugurate the conference on December 12 at 9.30 am. MRPL Managing Director M Venkatesh will be the chief guest. ICAI, New Delhi, Central Council Members C A Rajesh Sharma, C A Prasanna Kumar D, C A Dayanivas Sharma and ICAI-SIRC Chairman C A Jomon K George will be present.
Eight technical sessions on Income Tax, Digitization, Companies Act, FEMA, NRI Taxation GST, IBC, HUF Taxation, Successive Planning and fourth industrial revolution will be held during the two-day conference.
A health session will also be conducted by well-known psychiatrist Dr R Raghuram of Bengaluru. Mangaluru North MLA Dr Bharath Shetty will preside over the session.
Cultural programmes will be held from 6.30 om on December 12 by ICAI members and CA students. Mangalore South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath will inaugurate the programme.
The valedictory session will be held at 5 pm on December 13. Bank of Baroda, Mangaluru, DGM and Regional Head B Shivaram will be the chief guest.
