Huge catch of Stingray fish by Malpe fishermen

Malpe, Oct 21, 2020:    Fishermen  who had set out an a deep sea fishing expedition from Malpe have netted two huge  two-horned  Stingray fish, known as Thorake in local dialect. The fish weighs 700 kg and 250 kg respectively.

 

Fishermen from Naga Sidda Boat who  got this huge catch have sold it for a good amount, informed Boat owner Subhas Salian.  This is the heaviest fish caught during the  current year in Malpe.
