Mangaluru , July 18, 2018: Monsoon has gained further momentum in Dakshina Kannada district. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains across the coast upto July 21. The Department has said that the region may record around 115 mm rainfall everyday during the next four days.
The region experienced heavy rainfall even on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. Water logging near the wholesale market at old port has hindered traffic.
In Pavoor Harekala near Konaje, agricultural land has been damaged due to water logging.
