Manipal, Nov 12, 2014: The hearing in the Manipal gang rape case has been adjourned by the District and Sessions Court till December 3 consequent upon the Special Leave Petition filed by the State Government in the Supreme Court challenging the High Court order to hear the remaining 16 witnesses in the case.
The District and Sessions Court had earlier in its ruling had said that the hearing of the remaining 16 witnesses out of the total 108 witnesses in the case was not necessary.
