Health Minister pays surprise visit to government hospital Karkala

Mangaluru, June 10, 2015 :Karnataka health minister UT Khader made a surprise visit to Taluk government hospital on Tuesday and inspected the facilities being provided to the patients.

 

During his visit on Tuesday night, Khader also talked to the patients and asked the doctors to ensure all facilities to patients, especially to the poor. He checked the attendance was not marked by the nurses and found that six nurses were absent on the same day though there were patients in the hospital with severe deceases. The minister warned the medical officers of disciplinary action if such things repeat again.

He said the state government was committed to ensure cleanliness and security to all government hospitals to provide best health care to the patients.

Khader asked the doctors and other staff to do their duty honestly.
Former MLA H Gopal Bhandary, municipal council president Rehmath N Shaikh, Mohammed Sharif, Sudhakar Kotiyan and others were present.
