Mangaluru, Feb 15, 2018: Coastal Karnataka’s popular ice cream brand Hangyo celebrated its 15th anniversary with the launch of its new range of products under the brand name DNA at a function held in the city on February 14, Wednesday. Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel launched the new product and its logo.
Speaking on the occasion, Pradeep G Pai, Managing Director of Hangyo said his firm could proudly consider itself as one of the best ice cream brands of India that has been able to reach to great heights due to the continuous efforts of its staff.
J R Lobo, MLA of Mangaluru South appreciated Hangyo for providing direct employment to around 475 people and indirect jobs to nearly 2000 people.
Vathika Pai, President of KCCI and Nayonika Rai were the chief guests. Deepa Pradeep Pai, Dinesh R Pai, Executive President of Hangyo Ice Cream, Jagadish R Pai, Executive Vice President F S Miranda, Vice President (Sales) and others were present.
The newly launched DNA product portfolio would encompass Jams (Mango, Strawberry, Pineapple, Mixed fruit), Syrup (Rose), Juices (Mango, Orange), Canned fruits (Pineapple Slices, Fruit Cocktail, Pineapple tidbits), Crushes (Strawberry, Lychee, Orange, Pineapple) and Puree (Tomato).
