Mangaluru, Nov 16, 2014: Senior politician and CPI(M) Polit Bureau Member Sitaram Yechury has expressed his grave concern over the growing fundamentalism among both Muslims and Hindus resulting in a divide in the society.
He was speaking after inaugurating the 4th Conference of the Bank Employees’ Federation of India-Karnataka in the city on November 15, Saturday.
Yechury further charged the BJP government at the Centre of trying to divide the working class with the objective of implementing its reforms which he said aimed at helping foreign investors and corporates.
The senior politician also alleged that the Union Government had plans to waive a whopping Rs 68,000 crore debt of corporate companies.
