Mangaluru, Jan 05, 2018: "Deepak had left home on January 3, Wednesday morning after having tea. When he did not return in the afternoon, I tried to contact him over mobile phone. Initially I received a not reachable message, later I learnt his mobile was switched off," recalls Premalatha, the heartbroken mother of Deepak Rao who was killed in broad daylight at Katipalla.
She even recollects how her son often used to say he would go abroad to find work. "It was me who prevented him by asking him to work here. "Probably, my son would have been alive had he gone abroad," she wails and adds "God himself will punish my son’s killers."
