Get Together Function held at Milagres Jubilee Hall

Mangalore, July 12: The members of the Milagres parish community and Shanti Cathedral Community were assembled at Milagres Jubilee hall on Sunday, July 11 to celebrate a get together function organised by Milagres Church Centenary Celebrations Committee. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Bishop, Dr John S Sadananda, chief guest of the function, said that he was very glad to take part in the function and appraised St Joseph seminary for inviting to participate in the function. He has also commended the seminary for hosting a get together function of both the Christian communities. The two communities will receive god’s grace, he said. He further stated that this kind of function will be hosted in their church in future.

Bishop of Mangalore diocese, Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza said that ‘two Shepherds have brought us together to celebrate the grand function. It is the motivation by Jesus Christ to conduct this kind of function and this will lead is towards progress, he said.

Chairperson of the Centenary Organizing Committee, Marcel Monteiro, delivered the welcome speech.

On the occasion Senior citizen, Chevalier Clarence Pais has felicitated Bishop of Mangalore, Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, and Bishop of CSI- KSD (Church of South India- Karnataka Southern Diocese), Dr John S Sadananda.
