Fudar Prathishtana honors student achievers in Mangalore Diocese

Mangalore, Feb 27: Fudar Prathishtana organized a felicitation programme, during which it honored the SSLC, PUC, graduate, and post graduate students of the Mangalore Diocese for scoring top marks or ranks at the Milagres Jubilee Hall on Feb 27, Sunday. Steven L. D’Souza, the corporate consultant, was the keynote speaker.

This felicitation ceremony was held to stress the importance of higher education and to enhance awareness of all the facilities provided by the government. Mr. D’Souza urged students to choose professions they are passionate about.

Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, the bishop of Mangalore Diocese, presided over the event. Walter Cyril Pinto, the president of the Catholic Sabha, was the chief guest.

Around 150 students were honored while their parents looked on.
