Four youths feared drowned in sea at Someshwar

Mangaluru, Feb 14: Four young men hailing from Hassan feared drowned in sea at Someshwar, Ullal on February 14, 2016.

They were among a group of six came on bikes in a leisure trip to Mangaluru on motorbikes.  The victims identified as Shahid Kaleem aged 25, Mohammed Haneef (24), Imran Pasha (24) and Mohammed Suhaid (23). While Sadiq (23) and Sahil (22) were escaped from drowning.

The group had visited Ullal, Dargah before going to the beach. Out of excitement, the group ventured into the sea for swimming without knowing the dangers of Someshwar beach. Two of them managed to come back to the beach while four struggled to return and drowned.

Fire force men reached late and are searching for the missing youths. Ullal police is investigating the mishap.

So many drown in the water and lose life but the youth never make it a point to stay away from venturing into sea.

Youths when they are together they forget what’s happening around and neglect the words of the elders. Risk their life. The family will suffer the pain
