Four boys missing from Kavoor remand home

Missing from MangaloreMangaluru, 12 May 2015: Four  Bengaluru based teenagers were found  missing from Government run boy’s remand home in Kavoor – Bondel here since 10 May 2015.

They were from Kamalanagar in Bengaluru, who were housed in the Boys’ Home are reported to be missing since Sunday morning. These four boys ran away from Bengaluru or on tour visiting temples.

The Kavoor police said Siddaraju (16), Shivaprasad (17), Divakar (16) and Anjan Kumar (16) were found wandering in Dharmastala without any money on Thursday.

The Belthangady police on Friday produced the four boys before the Child Welfare Committee which directed the authorities to house them in the Boy’s Home till their parents come from Bengaluru. Since Sunday morning, the four children have been missing.

CWC Chairman Nikesh Shetty told that the boys have run away by breaking open window panes around 3 a.m. on Sunday morning. Parents of the boys are yet to arrive from Bengaluru, he said.

The Kavoor police have registered a missing compliant filed by Suresh, the first division clerk of the Home.
