First Beary film released at Prabhat and Big Cinema

Mangalore, Jun 9: Byari, the first ever Byari movie, made by Thannir Films, was released at Prabhat Talkies on June 9, Thursday at a special function organized by Prabhat Talkies. The movie was also released at Big Cinema.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Abdul Raheem, the president of the Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy, presided. In his address, he spoke about the power of films and on the role played by films in rejuvenating languages such as Beary, which are now on the verge of extinction. 

B. Nagaraj Shetty, the chairman of the Coastal Development Authority, was the chief guest of the event. He said that Beary has already been screened at film festivals in Delhi and Thrissur. Expressing confidence that people will respond favorably to the movie, he urged everybody to watch it and support the makers of this movie.

 

 

KPCC Secretary Ivan D’Souza, Vijaykumar Shetty, Moideen Bava, Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, and others were also the chief guests of the event. 

The cast includes Mummukoya, the popular Malayalam actor, Mazeed, Rahim Uchchil, Sharif Katipalla, Sudarshan, Kabir Katipalla, Shamsuddin, Mallika, Baby Shantha, Ambika Mohan, Roopa Varkady, Ashwathi, Asfiya, KTS Padanna, Batthisha Puttur, Baby Aizin, Annath, and others. 

Irfan Chokkabettu is the story writer and Ibrahim Tannirbavi is the dialogue writer. The songs have been sung by Manjari and the music has been provided by Vishwajith. Suveeran is the director of the movie.
