Mangaluru, Nov 16, 2020: The government bus services between Mangaluru and Kasargod which had remained suspended for the past seven to eight months due to the Covid pandemic, have resumed on Monday.
As many as 20 buses have left for Kasargod from Mangaluru and an equal number of buses have arrived here from Kasargod. Today, the State Road Transport Corporations of Karnataka and Kerala have pressed 40 buses into service. More buses are expected to be pressed into service in the days to come by strictly adhering to Covid guidelines, informed KSRTC officials.
After the Kerala Transport Secretary recently clarified that there was no need for any separate permission to resume inter-state bus services, the Kasargod District Administration made up its mind to resume bus services.
