Mangaluru, Feb 11, 2015: Indian Railways is set to commence its train 22655/22656 Thiruvananthapuram - Hazrat Nizamuddin - Thiruvananthapuram weekly superfast express (via Alappuzha) on Konkan Railway route. Suresh Prabhu, union railway minister will remotely flag off the train from Delhi on February 11 at 2.30pm. Inaugural run of train 22655 will be from Thiruvananthapuram Central at 2.40pm and reach Hazrat Nizamuddin on February 13 at 5.15pm.
The regular run of train 22655 Thiruvananthapuram - H. Nizamuddin will be from February 18 (Wednesday) and of train 22656 H. Nizamuddin - Thiruvananthapuram from February 20 (Friday). During the regular run, train 22655 will leave from Thiruvananthapuram at 1am on Wednesday and reach H.Nizamuddin at 2am on Friday. Train 22656 will leave from H.Nizamuddin at 10.05am on Friday and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 2pm on Sunday.
The train will halt at Kollam junction, Kayankualm junction, Alappuzha, Ernakualm junction, Thrissur, Shoranur junction, Kozhikode, Kannur, Mangaluru junction, Udupi, Karwar, Madgaon, Karmali, Ratnagiri, Panvel, Vasai Road, Dahanu Road, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota junction, Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur, and Mathura junction. The train will have 18 Coaches, a Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd communique here states.
