Mangaluru July 8, 2016: District BJP President Sanjeev Mantandoor has demanded the arrest of the abettors in the DySP Ganapathy suicide case and also to  hand over the case to the CBI.

 Addressing a press meet at BJP office on  July 8 Friday, he said that late DySP Ganapathy ws one of the sincere officers  of the district who had served in Bantwal as well as in Mangaluru. His suicide reveals the pressure mounted on police officers by their higher-ups as well as the Government.

Before committing suicide DySP Ganapathy who was in agony revealed the names of former Home Minister and two police officers in his suicide note, Matandoor added.  


This is the second instance in a week wherein  a sincere officer has ended his life due to alleged harassment by senior officers, he further stated.

The brutal murder of PSI Mallikarjuna Bande, suicide of IAS Officer DK Ravi, suicide of DySP Kallappa and now DySP Ganapathy proves the failure of the state government, he said.

Enough of your Drama all the parties the same . On the whole our is the most corrupted politics. So many police officer’s have died but they the blame themselves for their death and escape from it.
