Mangaluru, March 3, 2016 : Two persons from Shantinagar in Kavoor have been arrested by the CCB Police led by Inspector Venkatesh Prasanna on the charges of hatching a murder plot. Three machetes, two mobile phones and a Maruti Swift car have been seized from them near a petrol bunk at Kulur.
The arrested duo are Mohammed Ameen (21) and Abdul Hakeem (26). Police had earlier gathered a tip off that the two were planning to eliminate a man who was an accused in a murder case.
Of the two, Hakeem is also an accused in the case wherein some people had vandalised the office of Hindustan Bava Builders at Tokkottu over hafta demand.
Both of them are wanted in an assault case too.
