Mangalore, Dec 21: A dry fruit vendor, identified as Basheer (60) of Calicut, was found murdered at Jeppinamogaru on Dec 21, Monday. Reportedly, he was hit on the head with some hard object and killed in a very brutal manner. Basheer had left home for work at 8 a.m. on that day.

Basheer and his family comprising wife and 3 children have been living in rented house in Kallap since one month. Before this, he was living in a rented house in Pakshikere. He sold dry fruits near Lady Goshchen Hospital in Mangalore.

Kankanady Police have already registered a case. Investigations are now going on.
