Drunken driving : Car rams against auto stand; 4 drivers injured

Mangaluru, Aug 7,2017 : Four autorickshaw drivers sustained injuries when a speeding car reportedly driven under the influence of alcohol rammed against one of the autorickshaw parked in the auto stand near the Ambedkar Circle outside KMC Hospital.

The condition of one of the injured autorickshaw driver Praveen is said to be critical. His auto was badly mangled due to the impact of the collision.

The man who was at the driver’s seat in the car has been trapped while the others have escaped. Reportedly liquor bottles, match sticks etc were found inside the car.

The car driver has to be arrested and must be severely punished. Never give him any excuse , his DL has to be confiscated.
