Mangaluru, Sep 28,2017 : The Mangaluru City Corporation would continue its drive against illegal massage parlours in the city from next month in the backdrop of the High Court revoking its order  directing  Mayor and Commissioner to pay fine  with regard to raid  on a massage parlour.

 Informing this at the MCC general meeting here on September 28, Thursday, Mayor Kavitha said though a fine was imposed  as herself and  the Commissioner had abstained from the hearing in the case,  during the next hearing  the decision to slap penalty was  dropped and the MCC was permitted to  go ahead with its drive.  The MCC has received a  copy of the order, the Mayor said.

Deputy Mayor Rajaneesh,  MCC Commissioner Mohammad Nazeer and others were present.
