District administration offers heartfelt condolences

Mangalore May 27: The district administration organized a condolence meeting in honor of the 158 victims of the Mangalore plane crash. A number of local people, leaders, fire services from MRPL, MCF, and others, hotels and NGOs who had provided food, the district administration, home guards, CRPF, armed police force, and unknown members of the rescue team were remembered on the occasion.

District-in-charge Minister Krishna J. Palemar offered floral tributes to the deceased on behalf of the district administration. The armed police of Mangalore presented a guard of honor with the band playing in the background. 

Various religious leaders offered their condolences and prayed that the souls of the departed find eternal peace and also that their grieving families find strength to move on with life. Religious leaders said that death can neither be avoided not postponed, but happens as per the will of God.
