DigitPro Solutions to launch Suvarta TV and Konkan TV on Nov 1

Mangalore, Oct 30, 2011: Suvarta TV and Konkan TV, both brands belonging to DigitPro Solutions, will be inaugurated at Milagres Church Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Nov 1. 

Dr. B. M. Hegde, the former vice chancellor of Manipal University; Basti Vaman Shenoy, the president of Konkani Sanskriti Prathishtan; and M. B. Abdul Rahman, the president of Beary Sahitya Academy, will inaugurate Konkan TV. 

Harish Karkera, the director of Namma Kudla, will inaugurate the Tulu channel of Konkan TV while the Konkani channel will be inaugurated by Eric Ozerio, the gurkar of Mandd Sobhann. Abdul Rauf Puttige, the managing director of Vishwas Builders, will inaugurate the Beary channel. Fr. Denis D’Sa, the administrator of Fr. Muller Medical College, will preside over the event. 

Walter Nandalike, the editor-in-chief of Daijiworld Media Pvt. Ltd., will release the logo of DigitPro. Rohan Monteior, the managing director of Property Infra Tech India Pvt. Ltd., and Dolphy D’Souza, the social worker, will be the chief guests.
Konkan TV, an Internet-based TV online portal, will broadcast events in Mangalore, Udupi, and the coastal regions in local languages such as Tulu, Kannada, Konkani, and Beary. The channel will cover local, national, as well as international news. Viewers can tune in to FM Radio, watch movies and documentaries, and so on. Konkan TV will be used to preserve videos of all cultural, academic, and social functions. Local events will also be broadcast live so that people employed abroad can get a chance to view local events. 

Suvarta TV will telecast Catholic events, especially religious events such as mass, sermons, festivals, and so on. People can also watch religious movies through Suvarta TV.
